Sian Rickard
Since starting my Personal Training business in 2017 I have continued my love of learning about all things fitness, nutrition and health. I have helped my clients reach their weight, strength, health and fitness goals by offering practical and do-able solutions. A "Real-World" personal trainer.
I have helped clients rehabilitate after or through injury often working in partnership with physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths.
I see each client, whether personal training or class participants, as a unique puzzle and really enjoy seeing all the small achievements that can be made with just a little bit of listening, research, experience and encouragement.
I love what I do and enjoy sharing my knowledge. I have presented to audiences and small groups about nutrition, exercise and healthy lifestyles.

A bit about me...
I worked in the NHS as a Midwife for 17 years and after having had children I decided it was the perfect opportunity to have a career change and focus on something different.
I've always been interested in running and fitness, even more so after kids. I felt the need to get my body back to a vaguely recognisable shape, lose the weight I had gained during pregnancy and spend some time looking after me.
So I decided to do the LIRF running course (Leader in Running Fitness) with UK Athletics to enable me to teach others how to run and to complement that, I trained to be a personal trainer.
I love working with people and helping them achieve their goals, whether it's to get fitter in general, lose weight or run a 5k or 10k race.
I recognise that we are all human and we all have our limits but with gentle encouragement and small changes, great things can happen.
