Coronavirus Guidance


Hi Everyone, I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying your workouts this term. With the current coronavirus situation I wanted to let you know the precautions I am taking and what you can do to enable a healthy exercise environment. Circuit Training and Dance Class: • We have facilities for you to wash your hands at our venues and have disposable paper towels for you to dry your hands. We would advise washing & drying your hands both before and after class. As we will be doing. • All of our equipment and mats will be cleaned before class with antibacterial spray. If, however, you still have concerns please feel free to either bring your own mats or set of weights from home or ask for alternative exercises. • The school venue is cleaned daily and we will be thoroughly cleaning the cricket club this weekend. Any volunteer helpers very welcome. • If you are feeling poorly or have been in contact with anyone classed as at risk may we ask that you take a break from classes for the time being. We are happy to send video workouts for you to do at home. • If schools are closed and you would still like to attend class please do bring your children with you, unless, as before, they are feeling poorly or have been in contact with anyone classed as at risk. For more information please visit PublicHealth England or the NHS websites. Personal Training: • I will be washing my hands at the beginning of your session. I may ask to use your facilities if possible. We would advise washing & drying your hands both before and after your session. • All of our equipment and mats will be cleaned before your session with antibacterial spray. If, however, you still have concerns please feel free to either use your own mats or weights or ask for alternative exercises. • We will not be doing assisted stretching for the time being and will instead take you through individual stretches at the end. • If you are feeling poorly or have been in contact with anyone classed as at risk may I ask that you let me know as soon as possible. I will be temporarily waiving the 24 hour cancellation policy for the time being. We are happy to do Skype/ Video Call training sessions if possible or send video workouts for you to do at home. • If schools are closed I may not be able to make our usual training session but will endeavor to get childcare as much as possible. I will keep you updated. If you have any questions or concerns please get in touch. For now all scheduled classes, workshops and personal training sessions will run as normal.
